Video: In The Room: I Get Lonely - Gallant x Jack Garratt

Breakthrough R&B artist Gallant has unveiled the latest in his In The Room series of collaborations. This time joining him in the studio is Jack Garratt, and together they perform a stripped-back version of Janet Jackson's sexy-as-hell I Get So Lonely.

The result is absolutely awesome. Check it out, and then head over and watch the inspiration for this series, when Gallant collaborated with Sufjan Stevens on the latter's Blue Bucket Of Gold whilst they were touring together. You can also watch Episode Two, which saw Gallant team up with Seal to perform Gallant's own Weight In Gold.

Ahead of his debut album Ology, Gallant has just unveiled new track Bourbon and it is another soaring future R&B anthem. On the new album, new 6 April on Mind Of A Genius, Gallant says "I've waited a long time to say everything that I'm saying in this album and it's terrifying to think that people will hear it. But I couldn't be more proud of this body of work and I hope people take it in a way that's as honest as I was when I was making it."

Following on from Talking In Your Sleep and Open Up, Gallant's new track Weight In Gold arrives amidst a flurry of hype. Zane Lowe just included this in his first ever show broadcast on Apple's new global radio show Beats 1.

Weight In Gold is the perfect demonstration of Gallant's stand-out vocal talent and the track's heavily filtered production style grants the ballad an appropriately heavy sound. One to watch...

LA-based future R&B star Gallant has just followed up previous breakthrough track Open Up with this new track, Talking In Your Sleep. It's a dense, fizzy sounding track that sees Gallant's fantastic vocal range set against complex but poppy production work from STiNT that writhes and stutters as Gallant pours out his feelings.
