Video: Time Will Tell - Blood Orange

"Time Will Tell" is the closing track from the album CUPID DELUXE. The song itself was recorded live in a one take that lasted about 15 minutes I ad-libbed the vocals recalling lyrics from songs of mine and a song by Adam Bainbridge (which he was unaware i was going to do).

More hotness from the Blood Orange LP, this time in the form of the video for the closing track, one of the album's highlights.

Review coming soon but this is too gorgeous not to share.

Video: Colored Emotions - Night Moves

Buy Colored Emotions at iTunes - http://smarturl.it/dfpz3l With inspiration ranging from Pink Floyd and Todd Rundgren to Curtis Mayfield and Neil Young, Night Moves' debut album blends both psychedelia and Americana, with modest bursts of soul and pop.

'Colored Emotions' is full of the hazy longing that comes with late steamy summer nights and the video seems to have gone a little stir crazy from the heat - it's a surreal affair.

Nights Moves take inspiration from a varied set of influences - Pink Floyd, Todd Rundgren, Curtis Mayfield and Neil Young, and the result is west-coast Americana draped in psychedelic pop.

The single is out on 7 October, but the album is out now - check it out on Spotify:

Video: You Can Stay But You Gotta Go - Quasi

Quasi release Mole City on September 30th 2013 and also head out on a UK tour throughout December. Mole City is not in the tradition or deviating from the tradition -- it is the tradition.

Quasi: sounding like Pavement and making kooky videos involving dress-up. This is rather lovely and comes from their forthcoming album on Domino, Mole City, out 30 September.

Video: The Waves - Villagers

Villagers - "The Waves" - http://smarturl.it/villagers_thewaves Villagers new single is called 'The Waves' and is due for release on October 22nd, but you can buy it on iTunes now: http://smarturl.it/villagers_thewaves Directed by Alden Volney. WARNING: This video contains strobe effects and flashing imagery. http://www.wearevillagers.com https://www.facebook.com/Villagers https://www.twitter.com/wearevillagers

It's taken me a while to realise just how magnificent this single is from Villagers. 'The Waves' is something like what I would imagine the love child of the Notwist, Can and an early 90s rave to sound like. The video, directed by Alden Volney, is totally sick too.
